Subject: Danger Mouse
Message: Danger Mouse was a typical Fox Terrier puppy. She was playful and loving, curling up with us on the couch for movies and she loved going to the lake with her Laborador sister. Unfortunately another Fox Terrier trait is they love to run. When you unclipped the lead, she was off like a shot. If you opened a door and weren't diligent about keeping her in the house, she was gone. No amount of "Dog Whisperer" episodes could help us get through to Mouse of the danger she was getting into by running outside, she just thought it was FUN.
When Justin met Louis, I was not sure about going to a dog-trainer. This was something we as a family had to overcome and learn. When nothing improved, I finally folded. Our first session with Louis and Mouse left my mind forever changed. She was so eager to learn and please us, we just didn't know how to properly communicate what we wished her to do. She learned more quickly than we thought possible, and by the end of a month, we could leave Mouse off-leash to play at the lake.
We still have to have a tune-up occasionally, but now we're more knowledgable about how to talk to Mouse. There's no more panic about Mouse running out into traffic or not being able to find her in the woods. Thank you Lewis, for helping our family! We recommend this program to all our friends with dogs!
