TESTIMONIAL > Barklee
I would like for4 someone to know how much I learned and how much I enjoyed taking my dog to Louis Brentnell in Appling.
I got Barklee, a Weimaraner, in April, fully intending to teach him like I have done my other dogs. cancer treatment wore me out during the time I should have been working with him. All of a sudden, he was 6 months old, hard-hyeaded, belligerent, and +60 lbs. I could not control him so I asked my vet for help.
We can train any dog!! Ha! I knew Louis had met his first failure our first day. Within 5 minutes, he had Barklee under control. We went each week, and each week I felt I was losing the battle. Somewhere along Week 8 or 9 I began to see an aimprovement both in the dog and in me.. Louis had not only the dog to teach, but me to reteach.
Louis was very sensitive to my physical weakness. He worked on solutions for the problems that cropped up and there were many because of how much Barklee had gotten away with for four months.
I am glad I had the opportunity to meet Louis and his family. I see a man with much love for God\'s four-footed creatures. While he helps them, he also helps two-legged creatures do right by their animals.
